Inappropriate Shenanigans on the Thrift Store Shelves
The majority of the thrift stores are owned by charitable and Christian organizations. So, the thrift store shelves are overall family friendly places and perfectly safe to let your children wander through with a dollar in their hand looking for treasure (as my two grown-up children will attest to spending way too much time doing when they were little and I controlled their summers) without being shocked.
But every once in a while, you spot a PG-13, or just kind of creepy, item on the shelves that makes you chuckle - and turn your kids towards the colorful plastic toys in the corner.
As they are rare finds, I only have a few to share today, but I always keep my eye out for the elusive Inappropriate Shenanigan on the thrift store shelf.
So many captions come to mind that could go with this picture.
"What do you have there?"
Took me a moment for my brain to register what was going on here...but I can be a little slow.

This guy isn't doing anything inappropriate yet, but feels like he really wants to. The term "creeper" comes to mind.
Here's to finding the funny, the ridiculous, and the silly on the thrift store shelves...and life in general. Happy thrifting!
